Jeffrey Larsen is originally from Montana. Trained as a costume and set designer at the University of Montana. Jeffrey came to San Francisco to pursue his career 16 years ago. Along the way, he has worked for theatres throughout the Bay Area. A love of fabrics and color was at the base of all his work. While employed at American Conservatory Theater costume shop, Jeff immersed himself in his love for fabric painting and dyeing. This new work is the culmination of all of his training. Each shadow box is a mini stage upon which to tell a story. A narrative written on silk. A poem recited in color and shape.
